A cay evi or a Turkish tea house in Hong Kong
Sometimes, you are faced with interesting choices. Should I visit the Turkish cafe on the ground floor or head up to the naughty second floor?
I settled on the Turkish cafe. Have you ever tried the Sage tea? In our Turkey, we call it Ada Cayi (the C here is pronounced as “ch”, a bit like Indonesian). In Turkey, you can enjoy Sage Tea at a cay evi (a tea house), where often a kindly cayci (a tea boy or a tea man) will serve you the tea. Such man will often have good intelligence on the neighbourhood.
